A medal bar featuring fives decorations, including a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1939”, the reverse six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, unmarked, measuring 44.48 mm (w) x 47.82 mm (h), some oxidation evident, in overall very fine condition; a War Merit Cross, II Class with Swords, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “127” for Moritz Hausch, Pforzheim, measuring 46.96 mm (w) x 47.90 mm (h), with loss of finish throughout, in very fine condition; an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of silvered and patinated zink, the obverse with a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the reverse with an inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), above a crossed sword and laurel branch, topped by a Stahlhelm and stick grenade, unmarked, measuring 36.34 mm (w) x 44.15 mm (h), loss of finish and oxidation evident, in overall very fine condition; a Romanian Crusade Against Communism Medal, constructed of bronzed feinzink, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central raised Geneva Cross, overlaid by a hand clutching a sword, flanked by a date of “1941”, circumscribed by an inscription of “CRUCIADA ÎMPOTRIVA COMUNISMULUI” (“CRUSADE AGAINST COMMUNISM”), the reverse with a raised female profile above an inscription of “ROMÂNIA RECUNOSCĂTOARE” (“ROMANIA IS GRATEFUL”), unmarked, measuring 32.22 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition; a Finnish Liberty Cross, Gold Grade, constructed of partially gilded magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée the obverse with a central raised rose, with a swastika overlaying the arms, the reverse with two visible rivets securing in place the obverse rose, with an engraved date of “1941”, unmarked, measuring 38.88 mm (w) x 42.54 mm (h), in better than very fine condition; set on a 150 mm-long bronze bar with a horizontal pinback and red wool reverse liner, unmarked, the Iron Cross and Eastern Front Medal have been detached from their positions, in overall very fine condition; accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a royal blue exterior liner, the interior with a blue satin lid liner and medal bed, opening with a functional metal snap button and dual function metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 192 mm (w) x 86 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), some material fatigue evident, in overall very fine condition.
