The book contains 88 pages of detailed text along with forty black and white photographic plates, printed in black ink, on a coated white paper stock, page 4 with a colour photograph of a Helmet of the 15th Light Dragoons c.1767, measuring 178 mm (w) x 227 mm (h) x 6 mm (d), exhibiting crinkling at the upper left on the front cover, however, the pages remaining pristine.
