Un-mounted, dark patina on the BWM, very light contact, replacement ribbons, better than very fine. Accompanied by a 70 mm (w) x 15 mm (h) ribbon bar and his newspaper obituary.
Footnote: John Robin was born in 1887. He served with the Labour Corps during the First World War before immigrating to Canada. Robin died at St. Anne's Veteran's Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, on January 27, 1980, at the age of 92. His wife, Mary “Polly” Gray Robin (born 1887) predeceased her husband, passing away in 1954 at the age of 66. They are buried together in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Pointe-Claire, Montreal Region, Quebec, Masonic Section.
