1914 Star, 1 Clasp - 5th AUG. - 22nd NOV. 1914 (7213 PTE. D. OWEN. CHES. R.); British War Medal (7213 PTE. D. HASSALL. CHES. R.); and Victory Medal (7213 PTE. D. HASSALL. SHROPS. L.I.). Naming is officially impressed, the regimental designation erased and re-engraved on the BWM. Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, spotting on the Star, bruising on the BWM, discolouration and spotting on the VM, replacement ribbons, fine. Accompanied by an Old Contemptibles Association Membership Badge (in copper, number impressed "8286 D" and marked "REG No 726347" on the reverse, 28.2 mm (w) x 23 mm (h), maker marked "LOVE & Co Ld LONDON" on the button hole attachment).
