Broughton / Flight Officer" on the front cover and "Broughton" on the spine, hardcover with a linen finish, multiple pages with entries in black and red inks on four pages only, 115 mm x 181 mm x 10.5 mm, ink soiling on the front cover); and the Medals Shipping Envelope from the Air Ministry (addressed to "Lieut. J.H. Broughton / late Royal Air Force "Summerfield" /Harboro Road / Ashton-0n-Mersey, / CHESHIRE.", the address corrected in black ink to "Morveu / Barrhead / in Glasgow Scotland", red wax seal of the Air Ministry affixed to the outside, 75 mm x 202 mm, enclosing a letter accompanying the awards and requesting receipt thereof, dated January 8, 1925, 115 mm x 183 mm, along with a slip of paper entitled "EXPLANATION OF RANK ENGRAVED ON BRITISH WAR AND VICTORY MEDALS.", 37 mm x 127 mm).
