A Second War Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery North Africa Campaign Patch
Never seen before and possibly field made: Yellow, white, gray, light brown, mid-tone brown, dark brown and black embroidery, on a light blue embroidered background, illustrating the caricature of General (later Field Marshal) Bernard Montgomery in the form of an eagle wearing a beret, the eagle having just swallowed its prey, with feathers from the prey in the beak of the eagle and falling to the wayside at the right, the patch with a black wool backer, 106 mm in diameter, extremely fine.
