What's a max bid?

15K Gold with red, green, white and blue enamels, weighing 5.2 grams, marked "15CT" on the underside of the support bar, marked with the initials "L J" and numbered "12520" on the reverse of the badge, 19 mm x 22 mm badge on a 1.3 mm x 50.5 mm pinback, intact enamels, extremely fine, circa 1900 period manufacture. In its hardshelled case of issue, maker marked "THE NORTHERN GOLDSMITHS COMPANY, NEWCASTLE upon TYNE" with the company's insignia on the inside lid, lightly soiled slotted medal bed, scuffed exterior, case fine.
