What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Identification Bracelet (sterling silver, marked "STERLING" and maker marked "ELLIS BROS." on the reverse, obverse illustrating the RFC wings insignia and engraved "G.B. Hoy 71407", 20.8 mm x 36 mm, on a wrist chain with functioning spring-loaded closure); and Sweetheart Wings (sterling silver with blue enamels, marked "STERLING" and maker marked "RYRIE" on the reverse, 21 mm x 53.5 mm). Semi-dark patinas, intact enamels on the wings, extremely fine. Footnote: The Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service merged to form the Royal Air Force on April 1, 1918.
