Includes: fourteen Royal Air Force Half Wings: two Observer (O) (in white embroidery, on a black wool base, one is padded, with a black cotton backer, measuring 77 mm (w) x 37 mm (h), the other un-padded and measuring 80 mm (w) x 25 mm (h); plus three Air Gunner (AG), three Air Bomber (B), two Navigator (N), one Wireless Air Gunner (WAG), one Flight Engineer (E), one Signaler (S) and one Loadmaster (LM) (in brown and white embroidery, the Signaler and Loadmaster wings padded, all on a black wool base, with various types of backers, ranging in size from 80 mm (w) x 35 mm (h) to 105 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), two with paper residue on their reverse from previous board mounting); five Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Half Wings: one Navigator Bomb Aimer (NB), two Navigator (N) and two Wireless Air Gunner (WAG) (all five in red, white and brown embroidery, on a black wool base, the NB wing padded, with various types of backers, ranging in size from 97 mm (w) x 50 mm (h) to 105 mm (w) x 55 mm (h)); and a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Navigator (N) Half Wing (in white and light blue embroidery, on a deep navy blue wool base, measuring 94 mm (w) x 37 mm (h)).
