Fouled anchor in silvered bullion wire, in various textures, the anchor fronting a propeller in rolled gold-coloured bullion wire, the two insignia on a circular ultramarine blue embroidered field, surrounded by a white embroidered life preserver, with red embroidered bands at the four points connecting the preserver to a square frame with rounded corners, the frame fabricated from rolled silvered bullion wire, as is the stylized bird surmounting the frame, with black threading giving definition to the bird, on a navy blue wool base, black paper backer, measuring 81 mm (w) x 89 mm (h), scattered wear in the black paper backer, near extremely fine.
