Miniature Group to Miss Sydney Warner - Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Commander (silver gilt and enamels, 23 mm x 30 mm, Civil ribbon); Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Officer (silver gilt, 22 mm x 28.7 mm, Military ribbon); British War Medal (silver, 17.8 mm); Victory Medal (bronze gilt, 18 mm); Defence Medal (silver, 17.8 mm); France: Order of the Legion of Honour (silver gilt and enamels, 23.5 mm x 32.5 mm); Norway: Order of St. Olaf (silver gilt and enamels, 19.5 mm x 28.5 mm); Order of Orange-Nassau (silver and enamels, 19.5 mm x 30 mm); Denmark: Royal Medal of Recompense (silver, 17 mm x 24.2 mm); and Greece: Royal Order of the Phoenix (silver gilt and enamels, 18.9 mm x 26.2 mm). Footnote: Group is attributable to Miss Sydney Jeanetta Warner enrolled in the British Red Cross in 1910, in Kensington, England. During the Great War, she served as Commandant at Weir Hospital and Voluntary Aid Detachment Area Commandant at St. Omer and LeHavre. She resigned in 1918 to to join the WRNS (Women's Royal Naval Service) as Director of Personnel. She also served as Director of the WRNS Foreign Relations Department during WWII.
