In silver, "GRI" monogram (King George V) above the date "1918" on the reverse, measuring 21.5 mm (w) x 26.5 mm inclusive of its integral ring, original post-1919 ribbon, extremely fine.
Footnote: The Air Force Cross was awarded to officers and warrant officers of the Royal Air Force. It was instituted in 1918, for gallantry on non-operational missions and for meritorious service on flying duties.
