Three envelopes addressed to "Service de Prisonieres de Guerre, British Prisoner of War Post, 1599602 Gunner R.E. Skinner, British Prisoner of War, Osaka Camp, Osaka, Japan" from his wife, Mrs. Joyce Skinner of Ealing, London, each with a letter of good wishes and love to her husband, marked on the envelopes with a Japanese Passed by Censor stamp on the front and British "OPENED BY EXAMINER" label (numbered 7481, 7719, 4859) on the sides, postmarked Maida Hill (August 11, 1944), St. John's Wood (September 29, 1944) and St. John's Wood (October 25, 1944) respectively, extremely fine.
