Dannemark, at Flushing, Netherlands, written to his wife, Elizabeth Harding of London, England, describing the ship's recent encounter with French forces and stating the fact that not one man was injured, along with sending well-wishes to her and their son, Thomas, original red wax seal separated when opened by the recipient but remains intact, Royal Mail stamped in red ink, 220 mm x 361 mm, fold marks, most of which are from folding the letter for mailing, exhibiting age soiling, fine.
