An 1841 Chillingham Games "Long Foot Race" Medal - Silver, weighing 41.2 grams, obverse engraved "CHILLINGHAM GAMES 1841." in the centre, "Won by" above and "Wm Ridpath." below, reverse engraved "LONG FOOT RACE", two raised rings and raised rim surrounding the inscriptions on both sides, 50.8 mm, integral loop suspension with ring, contact marks, better than very fine. Footnote: Chillingham is a Village in Northumberland, England.
