An American Legion and Canadian Corps Convention Medal 1941 - Blackened bronze, illustrating crossed American and British flags (for Canada) with ribbon banners inscribed "GOOD-WILL INVASION OF CANADA" above the flags and "TORONTO JULY 1941" below, on a maple leaf base, 42.8 mm x 44.2 mm, original tri-colour ribbon with bronze-washed tin hanger, insignia with shaking hands and inscribed "AMERICAN LEGION" and "CANADIAN CORPS" around the hands, slip of paper inserted in the name plate inscribed "W.J. Wheatley." in typewritten face, pinback, extremely fine.
