Four Victoria Cross Recipient Signed Items
Edward Kenna (original signature of "Edward Kenna VC" in black ink, on a thick white paper stock, 45 mm x 127 mm); Patrick Anthony Porteous (original signature of "Pat Porteous VC" in red ink, on a postcard inscribed "BROOKLET V.C. CARD NO. 39" at the top, with his photo below, printed in black ink on a white card stock, postcard style backer, partial stamp and postmark "Isle of Man 8-6-96", 98 mm x 153 mm); Rambahadur Limbu (original signature "R G Limbu V.C." in black ink, beside the original signature of George Cross recipient Geoffrey Riley, "Geoff Riley GC" in black ink, on a British Post Office issued First Day Cover, celebrating the Victoria Cross and George Cross Reunion, London, 27th May, 1997, with images of both crosses, along with one stamp and "27 MAY '97" cancellation, printed in magenta ink on a white paper stock, 110 mm x 220 mm); and Ferdinand Maurice Felix West (original signature of "FMF West Air C" in blue ink on a printed page, with his photo and biography, page number "1288" at the upper left, printed in black ink on a white paper stock, 58 mm x 182 mm). Residue evident on the reverse of all four items from previous board mounting, extremely fine.
