A very well-preserved Mediterranean Theatre brass trench art tankard, the exterior bearing a hand-etched and highly-detailed map of the Mediterranean Sea, with the coast of North Africa and a detailed map of Southern Europe presented with topographical features, with dates and locations of key battles in the Allied defeat of Italy and Germany between 1943 and 1945, flanked by an inscription indicating that the tankard is constructed of brass repurpose from war materiel, with an integrated protruding handle, unmarked, measuring 91 mm (w) x 120 mm (h), minor denting is evident, with some oxidation visible to the non-chromed interior, in overall near extremely fine condition.
