WWI Trench Art Bracelet, Lance Corporal/Corporal Benjamin D. Hogg, Army Service Corps (Rifle Brigade) KIA - Aluminum Identification Tag hand engraved "B. HOGG / 31.MILTON.ST / MANSFIELD / NOTTS" flanked by two Belgian Five Centimes Coins on either side, held together with single link chains, clip at one end, 25.2 mm x 150 mm, near extremely fine.Footnote: Benjamin Disraelie Hogg was married to Mabel Hogg of 56 Howard Road, Manfield, Nottinghamshire, England. He enlisted as a Lance Corporal in the Army Service Corps (S4-041744) for service in the First World War, later attaining the rank of Corporal. He was transferred to the 16th Battalion, Rifle Brigade as a Rifleman (B/202131) with the rank of Private. He is documented as having died between March 21 and March 31, 1918, at the Somme, at the age of 35 and is remembered with honour at the Pozieres Memorial, Somme, France, Panel 81 to 84.
