SEBASTOPOL (No. 3117 JAMES KERR. 71 Hd. Lt. INFy). Naming is engraved. Very dark patina, on a period black silk ribbon, suspended from a hanger with fob, contact marks, better than fine.

Footnote: James Kerr is confirmed on the roll in the rank of Private for the Crimea Medal. He was also awarded the India General Service Medal with North West Frontier clasp while with the 71st (Highland) Regiment of Foot.
