Naming is officially impressed in block capitals. Contact marks, bruised, cleaned, very fine. Accompanied by assorted research papers. Footnote: Private W. Smith, 2nd Battalion, The Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regiment) is acknowledged as having been wounded at Spearman's Camp on January 21, 1900. This is likely due to the instances by 2nd Brigade Operations on January 20th, 21st and 22nd at Flat-Topped Hill, near Fair View Farm.
