Edward VII, 1 Clasp - NORTH WEST FRONTIER 1908 (12 Pte A. Craythorne 1st R. War R.). Naming is engraved in italic script. Silvered, spotting on the obverse, light contact, better than very fine.
Footnote: Private Arthur Craythorne was born in Birmingham, England. He served with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment in the North West Frontier in India and during the First World War. He was Killed in Action at the age of 29, on May 16, 1915 and is remembered with honour at Le Touret Memorial in France. His records indicate he was deleted from the roll for the 1914-15 Star but was awarded the British War Medal and the Victory Medal.
