Semi-dark patina, light contact, better than very fine. Footnote: 6755 Private W. Ferris was wounded during the Battle of Magersfontein on December 11, 1899. The 2nd Battalion, Royal Highlanders (Black Watch) suffered heavy losses at the Battle of Magersfontein in December 1899 during the Second Boer War.
