1 Clasp - BURMA (1796 Pte E. Fitzgerald 2d Bn Hamps. R.). Naming is engraved in running script, inverted. Dark patina on the presentation side and the edge, light contact, edge nicks, measuring 36 mm (w) x 84 mm (h) inclusive of its metal-framed soiled original ribbon. The medal is reverse mounted to a 61 mm (w) x 51.7 mm (h) silver easel with an elongated u-shaped loop above, the easel maker marked "DE GE" (George Edward & Sons (David & George Edward)), marked with an anchor (made in Birmingham), marked with the British lion and date marked "D" (1928), the u-shaped loop marked with an anchor (made in Birmingham) and date marked "D" (1928). Better than very fine.
