1 Clasp - DELHI (SERJt Wm SPARE, 75th REGt). Instituted in 1858. Naming is impressed in large capitals. In silver, engraver marked "W. WYON" (William Wyon) on the obverse, measuring 36.2 mm in diameter, edge nicks, light contact overall, original ribbon, very fine.
Footnote: The Indian Mutiny Medal was instituted in 1858 and awarded to all who bore arms in the suppression of the Indian mutiny, including civilians. There are five clasps for the medal: Delhi, Defence of Lucknow, Relief of Lucknow, Lucknow, Central India.
