What's a max bid?

United Kingdom. A Royal Victorian Medal in Case and Box

Instituted April 21 1896. George V. In silver, a round medal featuring the left facing profile of George V, the reverse with the cypher of George V on a shield, surrounded by a wreath with banner at 6 o’clock inscribed ROYAL VICTORIAN MEDAL, measures 28.5mm in diameter, worn on original ribbon with horizontal brooch style pin on reverse, dark patina, light wear, remains in extremely fine condition.

Contained in its original crème coloured case of issue featuring an embossed crown on the exterior, the interior features a velvet recessed medal bed, the hinge has rusted off the base leaving the lid completely separate, discolouration, wear, in fine condition.

The case is fit into a red cardboard box, exterior states “ROYAL VICTORIAN MEDAL (SILVER,)” small rip at edge, minor fading, in very fine condition.
