What's a max bid?

Accompanied by copies of pages from "Historical Records of the 24th Regiment" and a Muster Roll of the 24th Regiment confirming his death at Chillianwala. Footnote: 1712 Private Joseph Walker, 24th Regiment of Foot, was killed in action on January 13, 1849 at the Battle of Chillianwala, one of many British casualties that day. (C:9)
