1 Clasp - BURMA 1887-89 (2142 Corpl. J. Dempster 2d Bn Ches. R.). Naming is engraved in running script, inverted. Dark patina, edge nicks, light contact, measuring 36.3 mm (w) x 96 mm (h) inclusive of its cardboard-framed replacement ribbon. The medal is reverse mounted a 58.3 mm (w) x 50.5 mm (h) silver easel with an elongated u-shaped loop above, the easel marked with the British lion and date marked "y" (1898), the u-shaped loop maker marked "H & A" (Horton & Allday), marked with an anchor (made in Birmingham), date marked "y" (1898) and marked with the British lion, with a dark patina. Very fine.
