Accompanied by his RAF Service and Release Book (stamped "206266" on the front cover, date stamped "5 FEB 1947" inside, character inscription in the centre spread, four Receipts for Encashment of Postal Drafts stamps on the inside back cover, 115 mm x 140 mm); RAF Navigator's, Air Bomber's and Air Gunner's Flying Log Book (containing his Gunnery Course at No. 11 A.G.S. Andreas, Isle of Man Report Card dated 1944, along with multiples air mission entries dated from February 11, 1944 to April 5, 1946, 132 mm x 203 mm); Press Photograph of Thirteen Airmen and a Dog Gathered in Front of a Lancaster with their Captain (black and white, semi-gloss finish, inscribed "Group Captain Sheen painting D.F.C. on Lancaster that had completed 130 bombing missions, September 1944" with Taffy's name beside two swastikas designating his two "kills" and stamped "PLANET NEWS LTD. Davies was born on November 22, 1924. He enlisted with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve on March 15, 1943 and one year later, qualified as an Air Gunner effective March 25, 1944. He flew with 103 Squadron and 667 Squadron aboard Wellington, Halifax and Lancaster aircraft, with documented missions to Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Saarbruken, Duisberg, Essen, Cologne, Domburg, Heligoland, Dortmund, Duren, Karlsruhe, Merseburg, Arhaus Bay, Pomeraniam Bay, Gelsenkirchen, Oberhausen, Osterveldt and Nuremburg, credited with at least two "kills". Davies served until February 3, 1947, with his character noted as "Very Good".
