A circular medal constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse bearing the left-facing head portrait of King George II of Greece circumscribed with “ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ Β΄ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΟΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΟΝ” (GEORGE II KINGDOM OF GREECE), a royal crown is attached to the top, the obverse centre bears an image of a woman holding an open ended wreath and a shield, to the right is the inscription “ΑΞΙΑ” (VALUE or MERIT), measuring 35.54 mm (w) x 49.12 mm (h), weighing 27.5 g, with suspension loop on a dark blue ribbon with two light blue stripes, very fine.
