Footnote: The Commemorative Medal of the War was instituted in 1946, to be awarded to those who served in the Armed Forces, Public Security Corps and to citizens who offered services to the Army during the war, between 1940 and 1941. This version was issued to those who offered services to the Army and Air Force operations in Eperios, Albania, Macedonia, Thrace and Crete.
