In silver gilt, a white enamelled cross with a superimposed phoenix in the center, the reverse arms plain while the medallion presents the cypher of George I, surmounted by crown, measures 58.3mm (w) x 82.3mm (h), weighs 46.2 grams, worn on original ribbon with button closure at ends, enamels intact, lovely patina, in extremely fine condition.
Accompanied by the star of the order, an eight armed star of smooth silver rays, the obverse presents a superimposed gilt phoenix with a crown above, the reverse presents a single pin with dual stays, measures 75.0mm (w) x 75.1mm (h), weighs 53.9 grams, lovely patina, remains in very fine condition.
Contained in its case of issue, a yellow leatherette exterior of which the lid presents the phoenix emblem, the interior marked RUDOLF SOUVAL, the base features a black velvet medal bed with storage for ribbon below, measures 120mm (w) x 235mm (h) x 40mm (d), light wear (knocks and scuffs to exterior), clasp and hinge functional, remains in very fine condition.
