What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Second War Hungarian (Army) Military Police Gorget

Gorget in silvered non-magnetic metal, 160mm(w) x 90mm(h), with Hungarian Coat-of-Arms and motto riveted, numbered “9” on reverse; chain is magnetic, was silvered, but silver wash is worn off; in near mint condition. Footnote: Prior to the introduction of this WWII Hungarian Military Police Gorget (which is modeled on the German style Field Police Gorget) the Hungarian Field Police wore an enameled breast badge, making the military police hard to recognize; hence this design was adopted, similar in appearance to German police gorget. Very scarce original gorget in excellent condition. (C)
