In bronze, obverse illustrating the Hungarian coat-of-arms, engraver marked "S.J." (S. Johnson of Milan) and surrounded by the inscription "HVNGARORVM VIRTVTEM IN CHRISTO IVVANTIBVS / MCMLVI" (1956), reverse illustrating a Maltese cross and surrounded by the inscription "S IOHANNIS HIEROSOLYMITANI + SACRA DOMVS HOSPITALIS", the oval medal surmounted by a crown, measuring 35.5 mm (w) x 66.7 mm (h), very light contact, original ribbon, extremely fine.
