Hungary, Kingdom. A Rare Parachutist Badge with Recipient Photo
A rare Hungarian Parachutist Badge, constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a pair of feathered wings, topped by a central stylized parachute, overlaid by a skull above crossed bayonets, the reverse with intact dual attachment clips, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), some loss of silver finish evident, in overall better than very fine condition, accompanied by a photograph of the recipient alongside his wife, depicted in the uniform of a Sergeant and wearing the decoration, undated and unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 88 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
