Hungary, Kingdom. A 1942 101st Army Motor Vehicle Training Regiment Christmas Medal
Constructed of a patinated bronze alloy, the obverse bearing a central depiction of a Hungarian soldier seated at a steering wheel, flanked by national emblems and an inscription of “1942 KARÁCSONYI” (“CHRISTMAS 1942”), topped by a fir branch with a light candle, the reverse bearing a central depiction of St. Christopher flanked by a Christmas star, situated above a truck and motorcycle, topped by a Hungarian-language dedication to the 101st Army Motor Vehicle Training Regiment, unmarked, measuring 40 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
