The base cartridge box pouch along with the flap with a wooden frame, each of which is wrapped in red finished leather, Hungarian coat-of-arms in bronze gilt with red, white and green enamels affixed to the front panel, the coat-of-arms enclosed within an ornate frame in brass, with large swirl designs in each of the four corners of the frame, brass plates placed on either side, each of which bears a collage consisting of a cannon, two downward-pointing swords and crossed flags, surmounted by leafing, with a pyramid of six cannonballs and two trumpets below, a single brass loop affixed at the top of both plates for placement upon a belt, a leather strap affixed to the underside of the flap with a hole at the midpoint that is designed to connect to the brass post on the bottom of the pouch, a handwritten identification sticker inscribed in German affixed to the underside of the flap, measuring 145 mm (w) x 85 mm (h) x 37 mm (d). It exhibits contact marks on the enamels however they remain intact, with only moderate crazing evident in the red finished leather. Near extremely fine.
