(Magyar koronás érmak). Instituted in 1923. Two-piece construction, in bronze gilt, unmarked, measuring 32 mm (w) x 51 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, scattered gilt wear, spotting, on its original triangular military ribbon with hook and eye, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Signum Laudis Medal was established in June 1923 and was identical for military and civilians, the awards to civilians on a plain green ribbon, awards to the military on a green ribbon with white and red edge stripes, with awards for life saving on a ribbon with alternating red and white stripes. The medal was suppressed on February 14, 1945.
