Hungary, Kingdom. An Army Parachutist Certificate for Nineteen Jumps to András Kiss

The left side of the certificate is designed with an ornate floral panel surmounted by the Hungarian coat-of-arms, with the larger graphic panel on the right side illustrating a plane at the upper left and featuring a parachutist that has recently exited the plane, the shute fully open. An ornate heading is placed under the graphic inscribed "OKLEVÉL" (Certificate), with trailing floral and vine designs that finishes with a voided area that features the Parachutist Commander's stamp in blue ink. The text below the heading is inscribed "mellyel a m.kir. honvéd ejtőernyős hir század igazolja, hogy Kiss András sz.kv. a fenti századnál 19 ugrást végzett." (confirming that András Kiss had completed his nineteenth parachute jump). In addition, there are places for two signatures underneath the text: "oktató tiszt." (Teaching Officer = Instructor) and "századparancsnok." (Squadron Commander), however, only the latter features a signature in black ink. The certificate has the artist's mark "ISZÁK ELEK" at the lower left, while the lower right features the Hungarian Army Institute insignia along with the code "M.126/1940.". It is printed in four-colour inks, with the personalized inscriptions imprinted in black ink, on an off-white paper stock, measuring 410 mm (w) x 613 mm (h), exhibiting edge wear, creases and spotting, but is free of tears overall.
