(Cavaliere dell'Ordine civile e militare dell'Aquila romana). Instituted in 1942. Type I. Civil Division. (1942-1943 Issue). A cross pattée in gilded silver, with white-enamelled arms, with a green-enamelled wreath of laurel leaves between the arms, the obverse centre presenting a silver eagle bearing a white and red enamelled coat of arms, over a field of blue enamel, the reverse centre presents a silver fasces over a field of blue enamel, measuring 39.05 mm (w) x 41.50 mm (h), weighing 13.8 grams, presenting loss of enamel on the wreath, in otherwise near extremely fine condition.
