"Ordine Costantiniano Nemagnico di Santo Stefano"". Collar chain in bronze gilt and housing twelve 30.2 mm (w) x 40 mm (h) oval icons, each of which bears a ""C"", six on either side of a central thirteenth oval in bronze gilt, which bears a Chi-Rho symbol flanked by an ""Α"" (Alpha) on the left and an ""Ω"" (Omega) on the right, with the badge attached to this central oval, the badge in bronze gilt with red, white and blue enamels, unmarked, measuring 78.5 mm (w) x 83 mm (h), each of the oval icons joined by a single bronze gilt loop, the chain measuring 295 mm in length; and Breast Star in silvered and gilt bronze with red, white and blue enamels, unmarked, measuring 89.5 mm (w) x 89 mm (h), horizontal pinback. Spotting on a few icons, silvering wear evident on the reverse of the Breast Star, intact enamels, near extremely fine. In their hardshelled case of issue, leather-wrapped exterior, organization insignia surrounded by the inscription ""ORDINE COSTANTINIANO NEMAGNICO DI S. STEFANO"" on the white satin-lined inside lid, black velvet medal bed with recessed areas for the badge, breast star and chain, discolouration on the exterior lid, case better than very fine.

This offering is a part of the "Dr. Albert Goodwin Collection", a preeminent assemblage of world Orders, Medals, and Decorations composed solely by Dr.Goodwin between 1946-1967. Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent physician in New York as well as actively serving in both World Wars with the United States Medical Corps. He acted as both President and Vice-President of the Orders and Medals Society of America (OMSA) and is responsible for organizing their first convention in 1960. He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society. His knowledge and passion for history and awards is evident in this meticulously compiled collection that is now available in its entirety for the first time exclusively on eMedals.com.
