2 Clasps - 1936, 1937. In blackened bronze, engraver marked "V. PERRONE" on the reverse, measuring 33.5 mm (w) x 39 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, very light contact, the one end of the bar on the reverse of the 1936 clasp having come away from the body of the clasp, original ribbon, near extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The Commemorative Medal for Military Operations in East Africa was instituted on April 27, 1936 by Royal Decree No. 1150 and awarded to all those who took part directly in the East Africa campaign, but also to those who helped to organize military operations. Afterwards, up until the Second World War, it was awarded to personnel that worked continuously in Africa.
