What's a max bid?

(Regia Aeronautica Italiana). In bronze gilt, hollowed out behind the body of the eagle, unmarked, measuring 75.8 mm (w) x 24.5 mm (w), horizontal pinback, very light contact, near extremely fine. In its case of issue, deep yellow felt slotted medal bed, wear evident on the exterior, case very fine.

 

Footnote: The Royal Italian Air Force was the name of the air force of the Kingdom of Italy. It was established as a service independent of the Royal Italian Army from 1923 until 1946. In 1946, the monarchy was abolished and the Kingdom of Italy became the Italian Republic, whereupon the name of the air force changed to Aeronautica Militare.
