MORBI - DVCCI" on the obverse, Royal Mint marked "Z" on the reverse, measuring 35.8 mm (w) x 41 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, residue evident in the recessed on both sides and the edge from cleaning, light contact overall, eagle clasp affixed to its lightly soiled original ribbon, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Medal for Military Aeronautical Long Service was instituted in 1953, to replace the award created in 1926 that bore the portrait of King Vittorio Emanuele III and is awarded for long service in the air force.
