In Zinc, with white enameled cross, reverse inscribed “C.S.I.R” (Corpo Die Spedizione Italiano in Russia), reverse cross also inscribed on cross arms “DNJEPR/ DONETZ”, “DON”, “LUGLIO 941/ LUGLIO 942” (July 1941/ July 1942) and “BUG”, measuring 42.6mm (w) x 42.5mm (h) and weighing 16.5 grams, on period ribbon, with chipping to enamels; accompanied by miniature version measuring 25.3mm (w) x 25.4mm (h), both in very fine condition.
