What's a max bid?

In bronze, a Greek cross presenting an upward pointing sword, with a four point star at 3 and 9 o’clock , an inscription 17 VII 1936 above the sword’s tip, the reverse presents the inscription GUERRA POR LA UNIDAD NACIONAL ESPANOLA across the middle with a bunch of arrows in the 6 o’clock arm and the coat of arms in the 12 o’clock arm, measures 37.73mm (w) x 44.82mm (h – inclusive of integral ball), on original ribbon, dark patina, very fine condition.

 

Footnote: This Cross was officially founded to recognize the merit and bravery demonstrated by the Italian volunteers, from the Militia and Armed Forces, who had served during the Spanish Civil War. It may also be known as the Cross for War Merit for Military Operations in Spain.
