Special Battalion "E", Royal Finance Police Ethiopia Campaign Commemorative Medal (copper gilt, obverse illustrating an Italian soldier holding an upward-pointing sword in his right hand, backed by a large fasces, with a stylized eagle at the far right, surrounded by the inscription "DEBRI AMBA ARADAM MONTE ANDINO DEBUK ADDIS ABEBA", reverse inscribed in the centre "NEC RECISA RECEDIT / ETIOPIA / 3-10-1935 XIII 5-5-1936 XIV" with the Italian army insignia below, surrounded by the inscription "BATTAGLIONE SPECIALE "E" R. GUARDIA DI FINANZA", 35 mm, integral suspension with ribbon); Medal for the Campaign Against France 1940 (bronze gilt, obverse illustrating a soldier climbing over mountains, inscribed "VINCERE!" at the left and engraver marked "AFFER", reverse illustrating a winged angel in flight, her right hand holding a shield bearing a fasces, with a mountain range below, inscribed "21-22-23-24 GIVGNO A XVIII" and "BATTAGLIA DEL FRONTE ALPINO OCCIDENTALE", 32.3 mm, integral suspension); and Army Long Command Merit Medal, Bronze Grade (bronze, obverse illustrating the right-facing bust of Victor Emmanuel III surrounded by the inscription "AL MERITO DI LUNGO COMANDO", reverse illustrating an upward-pointing sword, surrounded by a full-wreath of laurel and oak leaves, 35.2 mm, integral suspension, without ribbon, spotting on the obverse). Very fine.
