Your contract will be automatically cancelled and ordered merchandise will be returned to inventory if full payment is not submitted by the three (3) month deadline.

What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

(Triju Zvaigžņu ordenis). Instituted in 1924.The Badge of the order, in silver gilt, presents a white enamelled Maltese Cross with ball finials and a cluster of rays in each quadrant, the obverse medallion with three stars on a blue enamelled field, reverse medallion presents silver gilt disc inscribed PER ASPERA AS ASTRA LATVIJAS REPUBLIKA 1918 G 18 VOEMBRIS, surmounted by a wreath suspension, hallmarked with a Latvian Head on the ring, wreath and suspension bar denoting manufacture from 1920-1939, a Latvian 875 purity mark denoting 875/1000 silver fineness, and a W.R Muller maker mark, measures 45.5mm (w) x 69.9mm (h – inclusive of integral loop on wreath suspension), weighs 36.3 grams, worn on original neck ribbon, enamel repair to 3 o’clock arm, gilt wear, in very fine condition.

Accompanied by the star of the order, an five point silver star with clusters of faceted rays, the obverse medallion featuring three stars on a blue enamelled field, reverse shows a singular vertical pin assembly with dual stays, maker cartouche denotes W.F Muller, Riga, Latvia, marked above the hinge with a Latvian head denoting manufacture from 1920-1939 and silver fineness of 875/100, marked on pin with Latvian head as well, measures 75.5mm (w) x 75mm (h), weighs 67.8 grams, one replacement star on obverse medallion, scattered gilt wear, slightly bent pin, in overall near very fine condition.

 

Footnote: This Order is the highest national decoration conferred to recognize civil merit. It was founded by the Latvian parliament as an award for outstanding civil merit and to commemorate the founding of Latvia. The Order was conferred upon all Latvian military personnel who had voluntarily joined the Latvian Armed Forces and participated in battles.
