Luxembourg, Kingdom. A Long Service Cross with Crown for 30 Years, c.1945
(Croix de Service). Instituted 22 February 1850. A Maria Theresa cross constructed of silver, two upwards facing crossed swords lay between the arms, the obverse centre bears a crowned cipher “W” encompassed with a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, the reverse centre bears the Luxembourg coat of arms encompassed with a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, with crown suspension, hallmarked on ring with indecipherable mark, measuring 29.77 mm (w) x 46.07 mm (h) (inclusive of crown suspension), weighing 19.5 g, on a yellow ribbon with green stripes, very fine.
