Instituted 1913. Type I. In silver gilt, a red enamelled cross with a superimposed coat of arms of Montenegro, on a white enamel field, surrounded by a green enamel wreath, the reverse features the inscription ЗА УСЛУГЕ ЦРНОГОРСКОМ ЦРВЕНОМ КРСТУ 1912-13 (For Services to the Montenegro Red Cross 1912 1913), the badge is surmounted by a crown with decorative pendilia, measures 32.27mm (w) x 53.40mm (h – inclusive of cross adorned integral ball), weighs 21.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), worn on a triangular ribbon, enamels intact, a scarce award in extremely fine condition.
